Set inside a storied Los Angeles estate and longtime home of Casablanca director Michael Curtiz, later owned by Gene Hackman, V. Chapman’s Fall Collection steps into a world rooted in Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Fall draws on the women who gave the period its enduring glamour: Ingrid Bergman’s natural radiance and restraint, Katharine Hepburn’s independence and ease, Lauren Bacall’s wit and cool self-possession, Marlene Dietrich’s unmistakable command.

The collection takes the codes of Old Hollywood and recasts them in a distinctly modern femininity. Rich floral brocades, red and black laces, brown chiffon and red organza move through romantic dresses and feminine separates; corseted silhouettes meet easier shapes, balancing structure with softness and delicacy.
