Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at V. Chapman. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days.
Our shipping cutoff time is 12:00pm PST Monday - Friday. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. We do not offer Saturday delivery.
Please note your order may take longer to ship if we are experiencing high order volume. If a significant delay is expected in a shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
If your order includes pre-order items and available items, please note that your order will be shipped once the pre-order item(s) are available.
For security reasons, orders over $1,500 will require a signature upon delivery.
Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for their shipping costs and return shipping costs. We do not refund shipping costs if an item is returned. The cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Please note all shipping costs are subject to additional taxes whether separately stated or included in the sale price. Any additional taxes on shipping are non-refundable.
Route shipping protection/insurance is non-refundable. For further details regarding Route, please visit our information page here.
We have a flat fee of $10 that will be deducted from the return for your pre-paid return label. This cost will be deducted at the time of the refund.
If you are exchanging an item, the cost of return shipping for the original item and the cost of shipping the exchanged item to you will be waived. Please note if the exchanged item is returned for refund, the initial and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
Overnight Shipments
If you are requesting an overnight shipment we suggest contacting love@vchapmanstudio.com to notify us of the rushed shipment. Our shipping cutoff time is 12:00pm PST Monday - Friday.
We do not offer Saturday delivery.
Please note that we cannot guarantee overnight shipments. V. Chapman is not responsible for shipping costs if the shipment does not arrive on time.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
The delivery time is an estimated delivery time. We cannot guarantee it will arrive by that date as it is only an estimate. We are unable to control or predict any delays that may occur during shipping. V. Chapman is not responsible for shipping costs if a shipment is delayed.
Once the shipment is released with the carrier, we are no longer responsible for it.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24-48 hours.
International Shipping Policy
V. Chapman currently ships internationally to Canada, the United Kingdom, and select countries within the European Union through our international partner, Global-e.
All eligible international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duties Paid (“DDP”) basis. This means that all applicable duties, import taxes, and customs fees are calculated and collected at checkout, so there should be no additional charges due upon delivery.
International shipping rates and delivery timelines are calculated at checkout based on destination and shipping method selected.
For Canadian Shoppers, all displayed prices are inclusive of duties, and taxes will be displayed at checkout.
For UK and EU Shoppers, all displayed prices are inclusive of duties and taxes.
Please note:
- Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures which may cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
- Refused or abandoned international shipments may be subject to return shipping charges, customs fees, duties, and taxes. These charges will be deducted from any eligible refund.
- We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes for international destinations.
Once an international shipment has been transferred to the carrier, V. Chapman and Global-e are not responsible for shipping delays caused by customs, carriers, weather disruptions, or other events outside our control.
Loss & Damages
Delivery Issues
If Route shipping protection/insurance was purchase and your package is lost, stolen or damaged, please file a claim here.
If Route was not purchased at checkout, please file a claim with the carrier.
V. Chapman is not liable for any products damaged, lost or stolen during shipping. Once a package has been shipped and is in possession of the carrier, we are no longer responsible for it.
If you received your package/contents damaged due to issues during transit, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim with Route or the carrier.
Damages/Defects
If you receive an item which is damaged or defective, you must contact our customer service team at love@vchapmanstudio.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please attach a photograph of the damage in your email in order to expedite the process.
